1.This worksheet is recommended for Elementary level. It features ten jobs known to level 2 students. It can be a used as review lesson or simply as an ice breaker for advanced learners. Students got to guess the job description of each job by completing the incomplete name of the job. The clues include incomplete words and appropriate photos.
2.This file includes some information about some famous people. It contains their names, nationalities, ages, occupations and their website addresses. You can use this worksheet to practice greeting or introducing a new person. Divide your class into pairs or groups of three and have them talk. Hope it helps!
3. This worksheet is created for elementary or pre-intermediate students to develop their listening and speaking skills by watching a video and learning some new vocabulary on the related topic. The worksheet also includes a question to lead in the students, then a matching activity to prepare them for watching the video and finally a while-watching activity ( chart filling). At the end the students can summarize the experience in pairs or small groups and reflect on the topic from another angle. There are some questions to help below the chart.
4. Pantomime is an exciting game. This is a game for practicing jobs. Cut the cards. Each student is asked to mime the statement and the others have to say. Hope it works!
5. A visual comprehension exercise, done in the middle of a lesson plan, that gets the students talking about what they saw. Body language plays a very important role in this activity and really makes your students reflect on how important it is when communicating with others. The students assess each other concerning that aspect as well as the information that is understood orally. My students really liked this activity and it can be adapted to all levels of English depending on the information that is to be given by the students.
