today let's fill "A MINUTE FOR HANDOUTS" with new handouts:)
A few days ago, I promised that i would share ideas of handouts with you on various topics. Both for children and adult students.

Today our topic is about social and family life and the next photos are aimed at a young audience.


1. This worksheet has The Simpsons family tree which is helpful to create sentences using possessive nouns. This worksheet is really easy to undestand and for sudents to practice simple present and vocabulary such as family members, possessives, and pronouns.

2. This is a complete lesson about family members. Make sure you introduce the family members before you start teaching with this worksheet. There is a word search included, and certain grammar tenses (possessive case, demonstrative pronouns) that are related to family. 3. A basic lyrics gap-fill activity for beginner students for the "Baby Shark" song from Super Simple Songs. You can find the video file on Youtube. I used this worksheet as the first part of the lesson. I also used a shark color-by-numbers worksheet I found elsewhere and then had students draw their families as a shark family, labeling each family member. Works great for beginner students, they really love the song (and hand motions) and it's a great way to reinforce family member names\
4. I used this worksheet in values, when working with "friendship". There is also a video on youtube which supports the handout and will help the students to get a punctuation when finishing the "friendship text". My students loved it and it was fun to do.
5. Complete beginners worksheet to practice his and her adjectives. By making use of a well known family it will be easy to infer meaning to help ss go through the worksheet. It can also be useful to practice family vocabulary. The names of the characters were kept in Spanish to help them make sense of the information.

A MINUTE FOR HANDOUTS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (10-11 GRADES) 1.  A worksheet to improve students vocabulary on the topics: science vs Technology. Students are asked to match some words related to the topic, with their correct definition. Key is included. It could be used as warm up activity or as a follow up activity on the issue. 2.  A worksheet to accompany season 6, episode 12 of Seinfeld.
