Travel, tourism, adventure ... what could be better? Not only children dream about it, but adults as well, right?:)

Today I'm going to offer several ideas for handouts on the topic "Travelling", which will help to make your class not only interesting, but also informative.

1. This worksheet contains some very useful expressions related to transport and present perfect practice. It is recommended for elementary to intermediate students. The students have a look at the sentences first, then they do the fsw activity. They have to change the form of the verb into pp and go around the class to find someone who answers yes to the question. Later students talk about some of their friends.

2. Writing is always a tough task regardless of the language. When it comes to English, it is worse, because students don't usually write in their native language (in my case, Portuguese from Brazil). This worksheet has been intended to help students enlarge their writing skills, this time writing about the city they live in. There are three more worksheets on this subject.

3. This is a simple worksheet for teaching or revising travelling and holidays related vocabulary.

There are two activities in which students are asked to write the corresponding caption in the picture and complete a dialogue. 
Recommended for pre-intermediate students.

4.As the title suggests the worksheet contains a brief history of tourism. Your students will be able to find a lot of both regular and irregular verbs in past simple. You can use this worksheet to practice reading skills. It contains TRUE/FALSE exercise - easy, and students will have to find the described words in the text too.

5. This is a worksheet about holidays in Britain based on the popular video which you can find on Youtube. This worksheet for students on elementary and pre-intermediate level. Hope it will be useful for you!
