If you want your students to remember your lessons, just try to connect the information you provide with some moments of your students' life.
You can use some of them as an example, describing this or that situation: it would be more interesting for them to visit such lessons, but not those boring ones where you try to explain them the importance of differential equations for our science.
Just try to come up with an example, how these differential equations can help THEM in the future.

Not only children dream about it, but adults as well, right?:) Today I'm going to offer several ideas for handouts on the topic "Travelling", which will help to make your class not only interesting, but also informative. 1.  This worksheet contains some very useful expressions related to transport and present perfect practice. It is recommended for elementary to intermediate students. The students have a look at the sentences first, then they do the fsw activity. They have to change the form of the verb into pp and go around the class to find someone who answers yes to the question. A MINUTE FOR HANDOUTS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (10-11 GRADES) 1.  A worksheet to improve students vocabulary on the topics: science vs Technology. Students are asked to match some words related to the topic, with their correct definition. Key is included. It could be used as warm up activity or as a follow up activity on the issue. 2.  A worksheet to accompany season 6, episode 12 of Seinfeld. Students begin with a 'get to know the characters' activity before moving on to a collocations vocabulary activity and some pre-episode discussion questions. Pause the episode at 7:45 for a number of a comprehension questions then finish the episode for wrap-up and discussion questions.   3.  This is a movie worksheet based on  Steve Jobs (2015)  for B1+ students.
