ONLINE COURSE ( PART 1)

ONLINE COURSE (PART 1)

ASSESSMENT

Online courses are an unforgettable experience that helps you to develop in a certain area and get a qualification to a higher and higher level.
In general, initially I had plan to complete the course and receive a certificate at the end of the course. BUT I didn’t find a course that would attract me very much, but suddenly I stumbled upon a very interesting webinar about Assessment that unfortunately without a certificate at the end. But nevertheless, I am ready to share screenshots of tasks and stages of my course, to tell you more about it.
This course promises from the very beginning that after participating , you will be able to:
1. Design an assessment that is constructively aligned (content, level, methods) with the course objectives and activities
2. Apply the quality criteria with respect to validity, reliability and transparency for construction of assessments and assessment items
3. Analyze the assessment output and results, assess the quality of the assessment and make decisions about students’ grades accordingly
4. Formulate future improvements for an assessment

Other teachers share their knowledge and experience and tell us about the types of assessment and how important it is.
By the way, I completed this course a month ago, but now I am ready to describe everything concretely in several parts.
The first week of my course had such a plan:

This topic immediately attracted me, because the assessment is very important for each teacher and student.
But, this course is not just about listening and forgetting. Teachers offer us material for our own study after watching these videos. This is a small book that is not at all like one of those boring books that you want to fall asleep under. The book is called: Conditions Under Which Assessment Supports Students’ Learning Graham Gibbs, Claire Simpson.
And I really advise every interested teacher to read this book!

The next step of my first week was:
During the passage I got such a formula, which for a long time stuck in my head:

At the end of the first week I was given a task where I had to write my feedback and a summary of everything that I looked through.
In the end, I can confidently say that I fell in love with this course from the very first week!
Wait for the next part, where I will tell you about my second week and what interesting things I learned there:)
